Recently I have seen these two problems. The first thing is that I have pairs 44-88 in any position, but especially in the early and middle position.
What do I do, do I call this raise? I’ll probably get over cards, but I really can’t miss a made hand preflop. I need to get the other players out and if you raise there’s an extra win percentage. The problem is I am also freaking out because I need to hit a set. When you are the first to ace on a scary board it’s not fun. But, if I am in position late and someone counter bets I don’t know what I’ll do.
The second problem is that whenever I have a hand-sub flush-and I see two cards of the same suit I have all these problems trapping or even betting value. This is probably because I have been run over by a ton of flushes and other players risking everything to chase them. The first way I could go is go all in and waste a good and by taking down a pretty tiny pot or the second thing I could do is when the numpty calls and scores in the last two calls, where he may have folded, I decide to bet and the turn was blank.
The same thing pertains to pairs less than aces. When your at a table and any ace is played, say I have pockets 10-k, if that flop is clear I do the same thing, pushing and pushing because I am scared so many times by that ace on the river. |
