Backgammon is a really fun game. It's fun to and important to try to improve your skills because it's so widely known across the globe. You almost always see a backgammon board open at almost every social gathering. Do you want to improve your game? If so I have some recommended books on backgammon which may help.
The first of my recommended books on backgammon is a book called, The backgammon book by Jacoby/Crawford. This book gives the structure for a conservative strategy in backgammon and is a good one to start with. The next book is, Backgammon by Paul Magriel. This book is a great choice out of all the recommended books on backgammon because it covers basic concepts and strategy. The third book I would recommend is The backgammon quiz book by Prince Jolie Karsil. This book is great because it's filled with 112 quizzes with answers. It's good for players of all skill levels.
If this list is not sufficient, you can find many other backgammon books on the internet. Just type in recommended books on backgammon and choose from the results. It's important to research and study the game if you want to improve. Another recommended way of improvement is just playing as much as you can. Try playing a couple games on the internet that also really helps. Just remember it's not a game of speed. Use your head and think smart. Keep your options open, stay aggressive and you're bound for success. |
