Usually I almost never do that. Slowplayng pocket aces makes me really nervous. My neighbor told me it was a good stratedgy though. He’s an amazing player, so I believe him. You need to just really think hard before you make these kind of moves. You need to understand your opponent because you don’t really know how he will respond to this move. It’s hard to predict whether this will make him put more money in the pot or not. It scares me basically, but I know that many other players do it. |

I have a lot of experience in the poker game. I have been playing online and also at tournaments at my local casino. I play my aces like all my other strong hands. I try to step outside the box and look at the game from afar and evaluate it. When I’m low stacked and I can make it two to three handed then I will work for a pre-flop. I do this when I have an average to large stack and I’m playing against more advanced people. I will sometimes slowplay so that I can get the most chips. I am usually about 50-50 online to win and I find that my average of winning with aces is better with a live play situation. Just make sure to constantly evaluate you game and you’ll be ok. |
