Backgammon is a game that is pretty simple to learn how to play. Many people who play backgammon though don't know the set up for backgammon. Every time they play they need to ask their opponent where to place their checkers in the initial part of the game.
Set up for backgammon is really easy. You just have to understand where the checkers are placed. The first thing you need to have is a backgammon board. This board consists of twenty four black triangles called points. These points are numbered differently according to each player. In the set up for backgammon player one's point one is at his closest right hand corner of the board. Player one's points go up in number in a clockwise rotation until his points twenty four which is at his farthest right hand corner of the board.
Player two's point one is player one's twenty four point. They play in opposite directions. In the set up for backgammon, each player sets up the board as follows according to their own numbered points. Point six gets five points, point eight gets three points, point thirteen gets five points and point twenty four gets two points. See set up for backgammon is really easy you just have to remember that simple formula and you know how to do it.
