| Can anyone recommend a good site for backgammon gambling on the Internet? I am just looking for something reliable and honest with a nice interface. Thanks. |

| Well, a lot of people may view this as overly optimistic, but in my opinion any large backgammon website you choose (backgammon masters, FIBS, etc.) are all pretty reliable and honest. You just need to try a few out to find one that you like and feel comfortable with the interface. I think that for the most part these sites allow you to download the software for free to try it out, so just try a bunch out and see which one you want to use. |

Yeah, all of the mentioned sites—FIBS, BackgammonMasters —have been around for a long time and I have had a pretty good experience with all three of them.
I think that you don’t have to worry about the integrity or honesty of the backgammon sites. It’s your opponents’ honesty that you should worry about. Like it or not, there are a lot of people out there who are playing with bots or trying to cheat you out of your money. You have to watch out for these people. Know the signs of cheaters and if you have a problem be ready to report your opponent to the site.
The good news is that most play backgammon for money sites have people working 24/7 looking for cheaters and getting rid of them. Every game is analyzed and if anything suspicious is seen they take action. |

I have used both GG and BGM and I would say that both are reliable and honest. If you play at these sites you will get paid when you win a game and you will pay when you lose.
Of course, you can’t control the behavior of your opponents. There will always be players who purposely lose to get lower ratings so that they can play you for big wins and there will always be players who cheat using bots, so you just have to watch out and hope that whichever site you are using is doing their best to rid the world of online cheaters! |

Yeah, it’s pretty true that you have to watch out for your opponent’s more than the websites that you are using. I have never had a problem with any site that I’ve used to play backgammon online. Usually when you hear about people having difficulties with the sites it is because they have been caught cheating.
When you ask about a site that’s fair and honest you may be referring to the accusation that many people have that the sites don’t have truly random dice rolls, but the truth is that there has never been any law suit or research that has proven this.
Just play at a site that you enjoy and everything should be okay. I play on FIBS, but I have heard about a lot of sites that are just as good. |
