Question about rolling

What happens if I roll the dice and then my cup falls along with the dice? Both my cup and the dice fall on the board and the dice are clearly readable, the cup isn’t laying on top of them or anything. Does this roll stand?

I don’t know if there are any official rules about situations like this, but I would say that if the cup falls on the dice on the table then the roll is invalid. If the cup falls on the floor, or the table or your lap, but does not come into contact with the dice then this should be fine, as long as the dice land fairly on the board.
