There’s something I am just dying to ask somebody. Does anybody have any good ways to spot collusion at casino tables? I have been a bit worried to play at the local casino table because I heard some really horrible stories. Basically someone told me that saw some players working together with hand signals and stuff.
One time I was playing at the ½ NL table and you know what? I was really uncomfortable with the fact that three of the players were friends. They were very vocal with eachother throughout the game. I also saw that 1-1 /2 hours none of the three players ended up playing with their heads against one another. |

Dude you need to remember that most of the players that you see at a casino have played together tons of times. I man maybe there is collision going on maybe…But, many players in a casino play together a lot. We have the same 9 guys that sit at the $/$8 limit game in my casino and these guys are making fun of each other all day long. They play for like 72 hours straight together on the weekends. And signals are some thing to keep in mind, but be aware you could just be being a bit paranoid. It’s hard for people to cheat, also when they are loud about it that’s way hard. Once you have more experience at the casino, you will be a better judge of what’s going on around you. |
