I have a question about no limit Texas hold’em poker. I was in this tournament recently and I was playing and the situation, I will detail below what occurred. Can you please look it over and help me with the rules of no limit Texas hold’em, maybe get in to it and provide me with some specific advice. I am confused.
Here’s what happened…I am in the preflop and player A is the first one to make a move, B-2nd, C-3rd. The blinds are 1000, 2000. Player A then raises 4000. Then player B calls. Then player C goes all in for 5500. Then player A calls. Then player B tries to go all in for 12,000. I didn’t think player B could do this? Is that legal of him? |

Yup, sorry to break this to you, but what player B did was totally ok. All in all in no limit Texas hold’em poker means all in all. He did nothing illegal. Player B can still call the all-in to play if he wants to. One other thing that you should keep in mind is that when player B loses, player C gets his hand doubled so it’s 11000. After this player B will get his 12000 minus 5500 back.
It can be a bit confusing, make sure you understand the rules of the game, before you start playing for high stakes. If you have anything else you are unsure about you can just post me another question on the forum. |
