There are several different ways in which free Blackjack games can end. The outcomes of the game are dependent on the player's in-hand total and the dealer's in-hand total. Whichever player has an in-hand total closest to 21 without busting over the limit will win the hand.
In the first possible outcome of free Blackjack games, a player can simply end the game by receiving a natural 21 on the first deal. A natural 21 requires a player to receive an Ace and a 10-value card, a King, Queen, Jack or 10. When a player receives a natural 21 and the dealer does not, the player is paid 3-to-2. Consequently, when a dealer receives a natural 21 in free Blackjack games, the player loses and must forfeit their original bet.
The second possible outcome of free Blackjack games occurs when neither the dealer nor the player begins the game with a natural. In this scenario, the game continues until each of the players has finished their actions. If the player's in-hand total is closer to 21 than the dealer's, the player receives a 1-to-1 payout. If the dealer's in-hand total is closer to 21 than the player's, the player loses their original bet.
If both the player and the dealer tie during free Blackjack games, this is called a push. The player's original bet is returned; neither player nor dealer wins.
If either the player or the dealer busts, going over 21, they lose. |
