Play Backgammon Without Gambling

Hi,

I’m new to online backgammon and I was wondering if there were any sites out there that allowed me to play without putting any money down. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not a strict anti-gambling type. It’s just that at this stage in my life, I’d prefer to stick to free gambling games in a friendly setting with the option of chatting to players.

Good news! There are quite a number of backgammon sites where you can get exactly what you are looking for. These sites have great layouts, excellent graphics and place an emphasis on their friendly chat rooms. People from all over the world are signed up with these sites and you’ll always be able to find somebody to play against, day or night. The nice thing about most of these sites is that if you do eventually decide to switch to real money playing, you can - and you will already have identified those players that can be trusted and who you are willing to play for money against.
