Something happened at my home poker game last night and no one knew what to do about it. The situation was all in between me and another person and we decided to run in twice. I won on the first board and then on the second one we ended up splitting it because of two identical straights.
Now I need to know. I had won the first game and tied the second, and I think it’s seems fair and normal that I would win 75% of the pot since I won the whole firs board and then I split the second board. The other person who was in the hand was arguing with me that it should be fifty fifty because we split the second running twice. After about ten minutes of arguing we decided to do a sixty forty split of the pot. I got 60 percent. I would like to know your opinions on this situation and if you think it’s fair and are there any rules for this. |

You need to think of it this way dude…You did win the first hand ok. And now that hand is dead and forgotten. The only way player two can get back his share is two win the second hand totally, not tie. You are in a situation where there are two possible outcomes that are reasonable for this type of game.
One option is that you win everything and the second is that you win 75%. |
