|
|
Can someone tell me what the rulebooks say about this backgammon situation?
Say that we are nearing the end of the game and all our pieces are in our home board. It is my turn and I roll a four and a six. I have two options: I can play the six first but then I can’t move the four afterwards. Or, I can move the four first and then I am able to move the six afterwards.
The problem is this: If I move the six first then my checkers are in jeopardy.
So here’s the question: Can I move the six first and then not the four or do I have to do it the other way round simply because I CAN? |

| Backgammon rules clearly state that if you can play both checkers, then you are obliged to. If you are only able to move one checker, it has to be the higher of the two numbers on the dice. |
