I love poker and play often. But I am a newbie to other card games and I have started playing blackjack. I saw that the multi handed blackjack game and I thought maybe I should play these extra hands so that I could get some more practice. Maybe that would just be wasting my time and my money. I just want to reach a higher skill level. What do you think? |

Insurance is ok, but I wouldn’t say it’s the most profitable choice. You should read some blackjack articles and some mathematical explanations of the game. You need to study odds and focus on that.
There are certain sites you can go to where you can do some initial research and they will really help you. If you are hoping and planning to make lots of cash at blackjack, you defiantly need to uses a card counting strategy. All online casinos shuffle their decks so fast though. Maybe that won’t help you. The site I use shuffles their 8 deck after only 20% of it has been used. That’s way too soon.
Listen all I’m trying to say is don’t play with just your guts. You really need to focus on studying statistics. Good luck! |

Here’s how I see it. There are no cards in 10 king play so your chances of hitting a winning insurance bet are 64/205 (52x 4-3 this is he calculation for the cards you can see in a single handed game). Your odds of hitting the insurance are 31.2% in that case. |
