If you play poker while you are starting to get pissed off you need to step back. Evaluate your condition; are you feeling too much adrenaline? Is your face flushed? Are you smashing your fist against the table every two seconds? Swearing out load? Whatever your own personal signs are of being angry are, once you feel it, move on and come back because you could be in for some danger.
I try to keep aware while I’m playing at all times of my emotional state. Every little thing affects a game and you need to make sure you are cool and collected or you will think up bad strategies bcause your not focused. A great poker player is one who is in total control all the time.
About your situation, the 7+ buy ins at a 3.5 PTbb/100 (this means you are winning, but not by a landslide so stay cool an cautious) There is 10,000 hands. It’s do the math here $.10 er ptbb X the rate ($.35 for 100 hands, you need to win $36? This will be 100 iterations of 102 hands. This is about 10K.
A win rate will shorten the time tremendously. The thing is if you are playing at stage which is within your bankroll amount; don’t go wasting it all because you can’t control your temper. I’m not n this site al the time, but when I ma I will check to see if you have any HH up and posted. I will also try to comment on anything I see and maybe I can help? |
