There are countless variations on the game of poker online. From seven card stud to five card draw, each of these games have slightly different rules and are preferred by different people for different reasons. One of the most popular poker games that is available online is Omaha online poker. If you are interested in learning to play have no fear-the rules of Omaha online poker are very easy to learn.
Omaha poker is very similar to Texas Hold'em poker. The differences are that instead of two private cards each player gets four private cards and during the showdown players must use exactly two of their private cards and exactly three of their community cards.
If you are interested in playing Omaha online poker and no absolutely nothing about the rules, we will start from the beginning. Before any cards are dealt each player places a blind bet to form the pot. Following this each player receives four private cards, which only he can look at. There is another round of betting following this. Next three community cards are dealt face up on the table. All of the players share these cards. Another bet is placed. Then a fourth community card is placed on the table and a third round of betting occurs, called Turn. In this round betting amounts are doubled. A fifth and final card is placed on the table followed by a final round of betting. Then the remaining players must showdown. The player that can create the best hand using two of his private cards and three community cards is the winner of the Omaha online poker game and takes the pot. |
