One of the reasons why Blackjack 21 is such a popular global game is for the simple fact that it is a challenging test of skill. Players can develop and then gamble on these skills. The game is made even more attractive by the knowledge that no matter what their skills, players can never account for the random element of the luck of the draw. Playing Blackjack 21 is always a risk, it's never a sure thing, and that makes the game exciting.
Players must be aware, however, that although luck is involved, it is essentially the player's choices that make or break the game. While Blackjack 21 is straightforward, there is a wide array of side bets and player options that can potentially confuse new players. One of the skills that players must master before they can wager successfully on their game is knowing which of the four player options to use after the first deal.
In the first Blackjack 21 deal, each player receives two cards. Players must decide what to do with these cards by choosing one of four different options. First, players can "stand" on their cards without making changes. Second, players can accept a "hit" of one more card to add to their total. Third, players can "double down" by doubling their bet, taking a hit, and standing for the remainder of the hand. Lastly, if a player receives a pair, the cards can be "split" to make two hands. |
