Biggest poker tournament pay off

Something awesome happened to me four years ago. This was during a big poker tournament which I was participating in four years ago. First what happened was I won a $6 seat which brought me to a $60 seat. This I won and it it got me entrance to the $600.00 monthly poker tournament. Eight hours had past during the tournament and I was in the lead with 1.1 million dollars in chips. I thought to my self, don’t screw this up. Don’t do anything dumb. There were like another 80 people and I was in the big blind with other blinds that were like $5,000 and $10,000 . Here I am with 8-3 and then there’s another guy there with the 2nd highest chip stack at 8-9. He sits down at my table and he is in seat 4. Then he pulls a 3,4 and folds.

Everyone at the table folds to me and I check. Flop 8,3,3. I check and the other player bets 50,000. I don’t know how to react, but then I decide to go for it and go in. I just want this pot and then I’ll be done, I thought. Uh oh what happens, but the guys calls me. Now he’s got 88, what was I to do I needed 99 or better!!
