Could somebody please explain what I’d need to do in this scenario?

The situation is that I had three checkers on the four spot and I was at the bearing off stage. I rolled a double six. The question is: Do I remove all my chips or only two of them? Thanks in advance.

Good question. In this situation, you would need to remove all your checkers from the four point. The rules of backgammon state that should you roll a number on the dice that is higher than the highest point on which your checkers are situated, then bearing off checkers from that highest point constitutes employing the full number. So in this case, although your checkers were only on point four, the double six meant that you could bear off as if you had thrown a four. I hope this is clear. You might want to try reading some basic backgammon rulebooks to get a better picture of this rule.
