| I have a question relating to bearing off. If I have my pieces on my home board, with no other checkers left on the board except on points one and two – what do I need to do? Do I need to wait until I throw ones and twos in order to bear off the backgammon board? What happens if I keep throwing fives and sixes? |

| In general, it goes like this: If you roll a number that is bigger than your highest covered point, you will bear the checker off the highest point that you have with a checker. So, for example, if you had checkers on 2, 3 and 4 and you throw a 6, you will bear a checker off the four point because it is the highest covered checker on your board. Hope this helps. |
