Backgammon is a game which the player can always improve on. No matter if you are an advanced or intermediate player; never think you are the best. There are always things you can learn. Always be aware of things you can improve on, here's some backgammon tips which may be beneficial.
One of the backgammon tips all players should know is to be very aware of where you place your checkers in the beginning part of the game. Try not to put too many checkers on your low points as they may limit your options as the game continues. Another of the great backgammon tips which applies to mostly advanced players has to do with the gammon. When you are trying to save a gammon, try bearing your checkers into point 6. You need to try to work around areas that you have difficulty in. If you are forced to abandon on of your shots, don't give up just change your plan a bit. Move your checker into the next best place that will be beneficial to you. Start with a game plan, but be flexible if it's not working out.
Backgammon tips can really help you improve your game. You can learn them not only from research, but also from your opponent. Always ask questions of people you play with who you think really master the game. You'll be amazed at al the things you learn. Good luck, and enjoy this wonderful game. |
