Download Backgammon SoftwareI can play with a tight/aggressive style of poker playing, but the thing is I can’t do it all the time. A couple days ago my playing describes this so well. I was at this game in my cousin’s house. It was a 9 man home game and it had turned into just 4 other players. I played and I think many people would describe my moves as tight and filled with discipline. The only hands that I decided to play were hands that I knew I didn’t need much improvement on the flop and that I could also raise with a ton of aggression.

Here’s what happened. I got aces two times and both times they were doubling up. Then I got a trip Queens card in the river. I decided to double up at that point and then I made a good call. I had a pocket 8 and the guy only had sevens. I was playing smart and I was in control.

I got the pot for that game but then in the next game everything goes all wrong. In the next game I did something so weird. All of a sudden I am going all in with a pair of kings, I have an eight which is kicking against a pair of aces. I didn’t win the next game. It’s like one minute I’ve got t and then the next it’s gone.
